Jason Adams and Courtney Blake met by the fate of God. He put both of them on the Internet at the same time and allowed their paths to cross. They talked for a week online and then decided to meet. Their first date was in Ft. Worth at TCU. They got engaged on December 14, 2004. Jason arranged a dinner at a French restaurant in Arlington on the 9th floor called Cacharel.
He arranged for the families to eat in the restaurant’s private dining room, and also hired a violinist to serenade them. After they ordered appetizers, Jason stood up and proceeded to talk about what he and Courtney had done the past fourteen months together. Then he read Courtney a poem and at the end of the poem he got down on his knee and asked her to marry him. And she said “yes, yes, yes.”
The couple said “I do” on November 26, 2005 over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend almost a year later after they got engaged. The brides mother escorted the bride down the aisle. The reception followed at the ballroom in the Hotel Crescent Court. It was a beautifully decorated room with custom linens from BBJ Linen of bronze and peach colors complementing the hotel’s colors and the beautiful fall season with flowers by Fete des Fleurs.

The evening was filled with great food and dancing. The bride and groom provided a fun candy bar as favors for their guests to enjoy. To top off the evening, the bride and groom danced to their last song surrounded by their guests on the dance floor being showered by white confetti. It was a wonderful fun ending to a beautiful day.
