Holly and Travis met through a mutual friend at a fourth of July party at the Hess’s home.  It was love at first sight! After five years of dating, they decided that they had found each others match! As Holly and Travis were headed to see family on Thanksgiving Day to have dinner with the Hess Family, they talked to each other about the many things they were thankful for in 2005. Travis told Holly that he was going to speak about what he was thankful for at dinner that afternoon.

Unbeknown to Holly, Travis was secretly planning on using this special occasion to propose! As the family was finishing dinner, as per prior arrangement, waiters came into the room with glasses of Champagne for everyone. At that moment, Travis began his Thanksgiving Toast. Holly still had no idea what was going to happen. After telling the family how thankful he was for all of his blessings, he turned to Holly and told her how especially thankful he was for all of her continued love, friendship and support. As he got on his knee and asked the four words, “Will you marry me?” Holly broke into tears and said yes without hesitation.

Less than six months to their wedding date, required a lot of fast and furious planning.  They hired wedding planner, Karol Welsh, with Dallas Wedding Planner to help them with all of the many, many details. The ceremony and reception location was decided upon – Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine, Texas.  The bride selected the very trendy combination of Tiffany blue and chocolate brown for her wedding day colors. The venue was a beautiful display of white, Tiffany blue and chocolate brown inside as well as outside overlooking the vineyards.  The guests had a wonderful evening of food, cocktails and dancing and were sent home with a chocolate truffle in a Tiffany blue box and brown ribbon adorning it.
