The last televised wedding in December 2003 between “Bachelorette” Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, drew over 17 million viewers. That’s a whole bunch of people watching a couple enter into marriage. Will you be watching on March 8th?

Mad Men star, Elisabeth Moss who plays who plays Peggy Olson in the AMC drama and her fiance, Saturday Night Live’s Fred Armisen, are also making plans for their wedding day.

Elisabeth Moss seems to favor a vintage look for her wedding dress, having selected a designer whose creations would not look out of place on Mad Men. She will be wearing a Claire Pettibone wedding gown.

•Queen Elizabeth had 8 bridesmaids.

•She wore satin shoes trimmed with silver and seed pearl.

•The Queen’s bridal veil was made of tulle and held by a tiara of diamonds.

•The bride’s wedding bouquet was of white orchids with a sprig of myrtle from the bush grown from the original myrtle in Queen Victoria’s wedding bouquet.

There were 91 singers at the wedding.

For the ceremony, Kate reserved the inn’s Casa Elar, a Spanish-style estate for $10,000. The couple is expecting 110 guests, reports the National Enquirer, who’ll arrive at the inn on August 30, the Thursday before the wedding. Among them, Grey’s Anatomy stars Sara Ramirez and Katherine Heigl, both good friends of Kate Walsh.

They’ll enjoy a dinner reception that night. The following day a family-and-friends luncheon is scheduled, and that night the groom will host a traditional rehearsal dinner. A Saturday afternoon pre-wedding brunch is planned to precede the sunset nuptials. Wedding Planner Jo Gartin of Love Luck and Angels will decorate the estate with hundreds of candles for an intimate atmosphere.

Kate will reportedly be wearing a stunning Vera Wang bridal gown, and the groom and his attendants in formal attire. After the September 1 ceremony, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception. A sit down dinner will follow. Kate has gone all out to serve a feast for her guests that costs about $250 per person. The day after the wedding there will be one more brunch to cap off the four days of festivities.
